Roberto Johnson is a writer, photographer, and filmmaker based in Santa Barbara, California. His work has been featured in Aquarium Drunkard, Tape Op, Visit Newport Beach and the Santa Barbara Independent. From 2017 to 2021, he was the editor of the music blog Riffs & Rhymes. He has interviewed and written about musicians including Mapache, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and Indigo Sparke. As a visual artist, he has collaborated with Alan Parsons and ParSonics Studios, Jeffrey Silverstein, and Circles Around the Sun. His first collection of writing and photography, A Sense of Place, was published as a zine in 2021.
